Collaborative Writing

 Hello everyone!

For this week's class, we were asked to review a movie. It was a peer work; we wrote our reviews with one of our friends. You can click here to visit her blog.

 

We were assigned to review a movie that we chose. Me and my friend chose the movie ‘Avatar’ since it is one of the best science fiction movies and we absolutely love it! First, we gave the basic information about the movie, then we wrote about the movie’s two great aspects that made us love it.

 

As an extrovert person, I like working in groups and I felt great when I heard that it was a peer project. I like the product emerges when two -or more- minds come together. Although, I like working in groups, I wouldn’t feel this relaxed if we were to team with someone random since I don’t know many people from my class yet. In the end, me and my friend did a great job! We both did our duty to not let each other down.

 

Let me talk about what I think about using wikis on collaborative projects. I think that when used right, wikis can be a fun way to learn and do a group project. I had a lot of fun doing this assignment. It was easy to monitor ourselves and each other this way. In conclusion, I think it was very beneficial to use wikis and fun!
