I hope you all have been doing well.
This week, we were to create an AI-based teaching material. It was a pair work and I was with one of my best friends, Feyza Nayın (don't forget to check her blog from here).
At first, we thought of the Replika AI to use in our activity but it had accessibility restraints, so we started to hunt for other chatbot AIs, since we wanted to focus on the speaking skill in this activity. After a long search in https://theresanaiforthat.com/ , I found an AI app called Praktika. We tested it first and thought that we could use it accordingly to our purpose. The we started to create our worksheet via Canva. We designed it as a handout to give our students. We designed a worksheet, but we are going to teach our students how to use the AI face to face in the class, this is why it might seem short. And here are our worksheets below.
